Last night I was sitting at my desk working away or staring into space, whatever may qualify best, and my roommate had just left when I got a surprise visitor - hiding behind a bunch of beautiful red and white roses!!!! Wow I was really surprised cause I had totally not expected it!! It was sooooo nice. We made very yummy dinner and had brekkie today before she had to leave again to Freiburg for an exam. Coooool! Today it is really cold here … almost freezing again. The birds outside go nuts over the food presented to them. I am having a cup of coffee I did not have time for earlier and will get back to my flying fox data soon … my amaryllis, btw, has two flower stands now, about 60 cm / 2 feet long each. Another week and they’ll be open!
